Be brave, dig deep and go commando

Friday 17th October 2008 will be a little different than normal – the streets, the bars, your work place will be filled with people “going commando” in aid of raising money for breast and testicular cancer.

Breast cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK. More than 100 women are diagnosed with breast cancer a day and around 300 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. In the UK alone around 1,960 cases of testicular cancer are diagnosed every year. By raising vital funds for the Breast Cancer Campaign and the Orchid Cancer Appeal lives will be saved and families kept whole.

‘Go Commando’ is a unique and exciting charity campaign to raise cancer awareness and generate much needed funds via innovative meanings. People will be encouraged to sponsor themselves and others to not wear their underwear under their outer clothing on 17 th October 2008. This is a fresh approach that has never been done before and has “water cooler moment” written all over it.

This worth-while campaign will be supported by social networking groups, internet marketing viral campaigns and a top secret club night hosted by many top names!

With your help operation ‘Go Commando’ will help save lives. So be brave, dig deep and sponsor yourself to Go Commando on Friday 17th October 2008!
